Two Michelin-starred Zaranda at Es Princep hotel is the crown jewel of Mallorca's fine dining scene. Chef Fernando Pérez Arellano creates a sensory journey through Mediterranean flavours, combining Mallorcan ingredients with avant-garde technique in a breathtaking rooftop setting overlooking the Bay of Palma.
The tasting menu changes seasonally, drawing on the island's incredible produce — from Sóller prawns to Tramuntana lamb. Every dish is a work of art, served with impeccable attention to detail. The wine list features over 400 references, with an exceptional selection of Mallorcan and Spanish labels curated by their expert sommelier team.
The setting is as spectacular as the food: perched atop the Es Princep boutique hotel, the restaurant offers panoramic views of the old town and the Mediterranean, with an intimate atmosphere that balances contemporary elegance with warm Mediterranean hospitality.
Absolutely extraordinary. Every course was a revelation — the Sóller prawn with citrus foam was unlike anything I've tasted. The service was impeccable without being stuffy, and the rooftop views at sunset made it genuinely magical. This is why you come to Mallorca.
We celebrated our anniversary here and it exceeded all expectations. Fernando's tasting menu is a masterclass in balance and creativity. The sommelier's pairing suggestions were spot-on. Book well in advance — it's worth every euro.
Outstanding food and setting. The only minor note is that the pace between courses felt slightly rushed on a busy Saturday night. That said, every dish was technically perfect and the views are unbeatable. Will return.
